What is Roadside Assist?

Available 24 hours a day, every day of the year, nationwide Roadside Assist service means you can travel knowing that if the unexpected happens help is on hand.

Roadside Assist covers the vehicle, not the driver.

What does Roadside Assist cover you for?

Flat Tyre – If you’re having trouble fixing a flat tyre, Roadside Assist will come out and fit your spare

Breakdowns – If your vehicle won’t start or breaks down due to a mechanical or electrical fault, Roadside Assist will be there to help.  They’ll assess the problem and endeavour to get your vehicle going on the spot.  If for some reason they can’t, it will be towed to the nearest service garage.

Locked Out – If you have locked your keys in your car, Roadside Assist will come out and get you back in

Flat Battery – If your battery is flat, Roadside Assist will come out and jump start your car to get you back on the road

Run Out of Fuel – Should you run out of petrol or diesel, Roadside Assist will bring you 5 litres FREE to get you going again.

What does Roadside Assist NOT cover you for?

Roadside Assist is designed to cover the most common events that stop you getting on with your journey.  There are however some situations that this service is not designed to cover.  These are:

  • Unattended vehicles
  • Vehicles involved in an accident.
  • Vehicles bogged down on non-public or unformed roads such as beaches or forest tracks
  • Vehicles trapped or immobilised in extreme conditions such as snow, ice, flooding, slips etc
  • Actual repair costs, including cost of parts charged to fix the problem
  • Vehicles over 2.5 tonnes
  • Towed vehicles such as boats or trailers
  • Vehicles with a flat tyre where no spare tyre exists
  • Vehicles being used for racing, speed testing, reliability trials, competitions or off-road activity.
